SIDING MOUNTING KIT — INSTALLATION GUIDE
Overview
This kit is designed for installing your fountain on:
- Aluminum siding
- Wood lap siding
- Other angled surfaces
It creates a flat, level mounting surface for the included wall bracket.
What This Kit Includes
- Top spacer plate (galvanized steel)
- Bottom spacer plate (galvanized steel)
- Pre-installed threaded inserts
- Machine screws (for bracket attachment)
Important Note
The main wall mounting bracket is included with your fountain.
This kit provides the spacer system required for proper installation on angled surfaces.
Plate Alignment
The top and bottom plates must be installed directly in line with each other (straight up and down).
Installation Tip — Determining Mounting Height
There is no single standard installation height for this fountain.
The ideal height depends on the primary users and installation location.We recommend holding the fountain in position against the wall to determine a comfortable height before installing the plates.
Once the desired height is established, position the plates accordingly while maintaining the required spacing.
Required Spacing
The distance from the top edge of the upper plate to the bottom edge of the lower plate must be:
11.75 inches
- Measure from:
- Top of upper plate
- To bottom of lower plate
- Plates must remain directly aligned vertically
Secure to Wall
- Use the center holes on each plate
- Drive screws into:
- Wall studs (preferred)
- Solid structural backing
Important
- Both screws in the top plate must be secured into a wall stud
- Both screws in the bottom plate should also be secured into a stud when possible
- Ensure all fasteners are tight and plates are firmly attached
Installation Tip — Pilot Holes
When installing into wall studs, drilling small pilot holes is recommended.
This helps guide the screws, improves alignment, and reduces the risk of splitting the wood.
Attach Mounting Bracket
- Position the mounting bracket onto the threaded inserts
- Use included machine screws
- Tighten securely
Install Fountain
- Mount the fountain using the standard installation process
- Insert quick release pins as described in the main manual
Optional Security Feature
- A lower hook is included
- Can be secured with a zip tie
- Helps prevent upward movement
